The Restricted Burning Period for the North East Sector of the City of Albany is in effect from 1 October 2024 to 14 November 2024. Permits are now required. 

The Restricted Burning Period for the South West Sector of the City of Albany will be in effect from 18 October 2024 to 14 December 2024.  Permits will be required.

Remember to register your burns with DFES on 9395 9209

Roadworks - Pikadon Road

As part of the 2024/2025 capital works programme, the City will be re-sheeting Pikadon Road, from Hortin Road to Lower Denmark Road.  The current scope includes:

 

  • Regrade drains;
  • Reshape road pavement; and
  • 150mm gravel re-sheet.

 

Works are expected to commence in early November and be completed by mid-November 2024, weather permitting.

 

The City will endeavour to keep disruptions to a minimum and would appreciate your co-operation in working with on-site staff.
