COA advised due to ongoing dry conditions the PROHIBITED burning period for the SW Sector brigade areas has been extended until midnight Friday 28th March 2025.

The next E-Waste Drop Off event will be held in 2026. 

What to do instead:

  • You can drop off TVs, computers, printers and mobile phones at Fossicker's Tip Shop at the Hanrahan Road Waste Facility for free, 7 days a week
  • Fossicker's and some local op-shops may accept some working electrical items for re-sale - please note, acceptance of items is at staff discretion and is dependent on quality of items as well as supply and demand
  • Electrical items will be accepted as part of the Bulk Hard Waste Collection to be held in May/June 2025
