Smoke Free Albany
The Albany outdoors is a place where kids run around, we play competitive sport, gather with friends and make the most of our free time in the outdoors. It also attracts large numbers of families, young people and children supporting an active and healthy lifestyle.
The City of Albany have developed a Smoke-Free Outdoors Policy that seeks to protect the community, in particular children, young people and families, from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke, in the outdoor areas of City owned or managed public facilities.
Implementation of the Policy will be is phases, beginning with the Centennial Park Sporting Precinct.
