Reconciliation Action Plan

The City of Albany Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) marks a significant step in the City’s ongoing reconciliation journey. As part of the national Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) program, endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, the Reflect RAP is the foundation for building stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The RAP acknowledges the Menang Noongar people as the Traditional Owners of the land and commits to fostering greater cultural understanding, inclusion, and respect. Outlining key actions the City will take to promote reconciliation, the RAP is working towards a more united, respectful, and culturally enriched community, ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices are heard and valued.
