The Restricted Burning Period for the North East Sector of the City of Albany is in effect from 1 October 2024 to 14 November 2024. Permits are now required. 

The Restricted Burning Period for the South West Sector of the City of Albany will be in effect from 18 October 2024 to 14 December 2024.  Permits will be required.

Proposal to Dispose of Property

The City of Albany proposes to enter into a replacement lease over portion of Crown Reserve 26149, Middleton Beach to DK Hospitality #2 Pty Ltd, trading as Three Anchors for a consideration of $105,000 ex GST per annum in accordance with market valuation dated 19 August 2024.

The lease will be for a term of 21 years after the commencement date.

It is a requirement of the Local Government Act 1995 that this disposal be advertised for public comment.
