Temporary Extended Trading Hours: 2024-25 Christmas and New Year Period

The City of Albany advises that the following temporary extended trading hours for Christmas & New Year Trading 2024 - 25 have been approved by the Hon. Sue Ellery MLC, Minister for Finance; Commerce; Women’s Interests:

Christmas 2024 is the period that begins from 1 December 2024 and ends on 31 January 2025 (both dates inclusive).

Saturday 7 December 2023        8.00am to 9.00pm (Christmas Pageant)

Christmas 2024 Opening Hours:

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays - from 8.00am to 9.00pm

Sundays and Public Holidays - from 10.00am to 5.00pm

General retail shops in the Albany local government district are required to be closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday 25 December 2024.

Please note it is not compulsory for retailers to trade on these dates.
