The COA advises that the South West Sector has entered the Restricted Burning Period from 29 March 2025 up to and including midnight 14 May 2025 and all residents in the South West Sector planning a burn are required to apply for a burn permit from your local Bush Fire Brigade

Runway Maintenance – Albany Regional Airport

Runway maintenance will be carried out at Albany Regional Airport from 11am Saturday, April 12 to 11am Sunday, April 13, requiring a temporary closure of both runways.

There will be no impact to regular passenger flights, which are scheduled to resume as normal following the closure.
