Proposal to Dispose of Property Veolia Environmental Services (Australia) Pty Ltd – Portion of Lot 167 Cuming Road, Hanrahan Road Waste Facility, Mount Melville

The City of Albany proposes to lease a portion of area at Hanrahan Road Waste Facility to Veolia Environmental Services (Australia) Pty Ltd for a consideration of $1.00 ex GST per annum. This lease supports Veolia to manage its contractual obligations for Recycling Processing and Waste Collection Services, ensuring they have the necessary infrastructure to deliver these essential services efficiently and effectively within the City of Albany.

The lease will be for a term of 8 years with the option of two 1-year extensions commencing 1 July 2025.

It is a requirement of the Local Government Act 1995 that this proposal be advertised for public comment.
