The COA advises that the South West Sector has entered the Restricted Burning Period from 29 March 2025 up to and including midnight 14 May 2025 and all residents in the South West Sector planning a burn are required to apply for a burn permit from your local Bush Fire Brigade

Proposal to Dispose of Property | BIG4 Middleton Beach Holiday Park - Portion Crown Reserve 36320, Flinders Parade, Middleton Beach

The City of Albany proposes to surrender the current lease and enter into a replacement lease over portion of Crown Reserve 36320, Middleton Beach to Shuttleworth Pty Ltd for a consideration of $64,000 plus GST per annum in accordance with market valuation dated 26 February 2025.

The lease will be for a term of 21 years from the commencement date.

It is a requirement of the Local Government Act 1995 that this proposal be advertised for public comment.
