WA Tree Festival

Past Event

Get beyond the bark at WA Tree Festival! A community celebration of trees in our urban areas and beyond, running from 9 April - 9 May 2022. WA Tree Festival features a variety of workshops, school holiday activities, trails, free trees, and wellness activities.

Trees are essential in a warming climate – they cool us down, provide habitat for wildlife and make our neighborhoods look and feel better. Although most local government areas are working hard to plant trees on streets and in parks, we are still losing large amounts of tree canopy each year, especially in areas with lots of development.

For the first time, WA Tree Festival brings local councils and community groups together to help share the value of trees!

The City of Albany is a proud partner of this event 🌳
