The Restricted Burning Period for the North East Sector of the City of Albany is in effect from 1 October 2024 to 14 November 2024. Permits are now required. 

The Restricted Burning Period for the South West Sector of the City of Albany will be in effect from 18 October 2024 to 14 December 2024.  Permits will be required.

Ukraine Independence Day Ceremony & Flag Raising

Join us on Sunday, 20 August 2023 at Anzac Peace Park as we host a special ceremony to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day.

Together, we'll raise the Ukrainian flag, sing the National Anthem, and send our prayers for Ukraine's peace and prosperity.

Let our thoughts and prayers be with the Ukrainian people as we mark this occasion.
