Ancient Mummification

Mummification wasn’t only for the Pharaohs. Often pets were buried with their owners and mummified with the same care as the humans were. Almost every kind of animal that lived in ancient Egypt has been found as a mummy.
Come along to Albany Public Library and create a sarcophagus or paint an ancient Egyptian plaster model.
