The 2020 Bulk Green Waste Collection has been re-scheduled!
The annual collection will commence on June 15th 2020 where residents with a regular kerbside wheelie bin service can place up to two 6x4 trailer loads or two cubic meters of green waste on their verge on the advertised collection dates.
This collection is for GREEN WASTE ONLY.
Information on how to put green waste on the verge will be delivered to households.
Zone A commencing 15 June 2020: McKail, Millbrook, Milpara, Orana, Warrenup, Wilyung, King River
Zone B commencing 22 June 2020: Bayonet Head, Gull Rock, Kalgan, Kalgan Heights, Lower King, Swan Point, Walmsley
Zone C commencing 29 June 2020: Albany Central, Centennial Park, Collingwood Heights, Collingwood Park, Emu Point, Lange, Mira Mar, Seppings, Spencer Park, Yakamia
Zone D commencing 6 July 2020: Cuthbert, Elleker, Gledow, Lockyer, Mt Clarence, Mt Melville, Middleton Beach, Port Albany
Zone E commencing 13 July 2020: Big Grove, Frenchman Bay, Goode Beach, Little Grove, Mt Elphinstone, Robinson
Bulk Hard Waste Collections are held every two years. Residents with a regular kerbside wheelie bin service can place up to two 6x4 trailer loads or two cubic meters of hard waste on the verge on the advertised collection dates.
The 2020 Bulk Hard Waste Collection was postpones due to practical and safety implications of COVID-19. The City of Albany is working to reschedule this service and residents will be notified of new dates once they are confirmed.
