Albany is set to sparkle this festive season with the return of the popular Christmas Lights Trail on Friday, 22 November 2024, featuring the trail’s widest footprint yet.
Now in its fourth year, the trail will showcase 11 installations, including displays at Binalup / Middleton Beach and Emu Point, expanding the festive experience beyond the CBD for the first time.
An interactive map will guide visitors to iconic locations such as Alison Hartman Gardens, Albany Town Square, and Anzac Peace Park, ensuring no display is missed.
The 2024 Christmas Lights Trail will feature a mix of traditional festive favourites alongside a nod to Australia’s unique wildlife.
Interactive elements, such as the Koala Selfie and the Selfie Elf, encourage active participation, making the trail not just a visual spectacle but an engaging experience for all ages.
Manager Community Relations Elise van Gorp said this year’s expanded trail brings new vibrancy to Albany’s festive season.
“The trail not only lights up the heart of the city but also extends to Binalup / Middleton Beach and Emu Point, offering the community and visitors an even broader festive experience,” Ms van Gorp said.
“We’re excited to showcase these new locations for everyone to explore and enjoy.
“It’s a wonderful way to bring people together and celebrate the spirit of the holidays in Albany.”
