The Restricted Burning Time in the Northeast Sector of the City of Albany has been lifted, as of today, Tuesday 22nd April 2025, where burn permits are no longer required. All other conditions under the Bush Fire Act 1954 and must maintained.  The Southwest Sector of the City of Albany is still in the Restricted Burning Period up to and including Wednesday 14th May 2025.

Maritime Youth Market 2024

An exclusive opportunity for young people to sell hand-made or thrifted items in a pop up retail environment.

When: Saturday 13 July 2024

Time: 10am - 2pm 

Where: Albany Town Hall, 217 York Street, Albany WA

Who can apply: Young people aged 10-25 years old

What could you sell?

  • Vintage or hand-made clothing & accessories
  • Artworks
  • Sculptures
  • Pottery
  • Candles & homewares
  • Jewellery
  • Food and/or beverages (including farm produce)
  • Lip balm
  • Plant terrariums
  • Woodwork

It is FREE to run your own market stall! All costs will be covered by the City of Albany.

Any $$$ you make, you keep! 

Expressions of interest close on Friday 24 May 2024 at 5pm.

Due to the popularity of this market and limited capacity in the Town Hall please note that expressing your interest does not guarantee you a stall, as we endeavour to have a range of different products available to the public. You will be notified once EOI's close if you have been successful. See below site plan for the Albany Town Hall.

Food Stalls

All food stallholders who do not already have a Food Business Certificate will be required to apply to become a Food Business under the Food Act 2008 or apply for a temporary Stall Holder Permit. These costs will be covered by the City of Albany.
