After Covid hit pause on the events of Youth Week last year, the 2021 festivities are ready and raring to go, as preparations for Albany’s youth to be celebrated across every inch of the city come to life.
Running across April 9 to April 16, Youth Week is an annual state-wide celebration of the positive contributions young people make to our community.
Following this year’s theme of ‘Our Path’, Albany’s Youth Week events will acknowledge the importance of our youth coming together to create a community which will inform the future of youth engagement in Albany.

Carla Geneve returns to her home town with an all-ages show at the iconic Town Hall, supported local band The Morsels.

Cloudy With a Chance of Music is the City of Albany's Youth Week WA 2021 festival, offering creative workshops, basketball, summer skate sessions, live music, stalls, drumming and lots more.

Facilitated by Breaksea artist Rachael Colmer, a Southern Edge Arts ensemble have written and rehearsed their own scenes exploring issues relevant to their shared experience, that will be performed in interesting and surprising sites within the Albany Town Hall.
