In this workshop, through a combination of teaching and writing exercises, you’ll learn what makes a good memoir and how to start writing your own. The course will cover themes, how to get words down in a first draft, redrafting and editing, finishing with a brief overview of publication options. Suitable for beginner writers

Do you aspire to write a story but don’t know how to begin? This session combines teaching with writing activities and you’ll learn the basics of writing short fiction stories. The session will include where to find story ideas, getting words down in a first draft, and developing characters and plot.
