City of Albany residents are invited to have a say about their City when the 2023 Community Scorecard hits letterboxes, email addresses and online platforms this week.
Every two years the City of Albany reaches out to residents and engages with community to ask what is being done well and what can be improved. Feedback from residents then informs the City’s priorities for the next two years.
Residents can have their say this year by completing the Community Scorecard survey online via the City’s website and social media pages from 16 February until 10 March.
The City is also sending out the Community Scorecard survey via letterbox delivery to a sampled portion of the community. Residents who are selected in the sample to receive a survey are encouraged to complete it and send it back via a reply-paid envelope, and each survey is anonymous.
Chief Executive Officer Andrew Sharpe said the Community Scorecard is highly valued by the City.
“The Community Scorecard is benchmarked across all participating local governments and allows the City of Albany to make sure the services we provide our community are meeting expectations,” he said.
“Every resident that completes the scorecard will be having an important voice in how their city looks into the future. The more residents that fill in the survey, the better understanding the City has of how it is meeting community priorities.
“It is important that residents take the time to complete the survey because the findings will influence what the City consider a priority in the eyes of the community.”
Residents are encouraged to keep an eye out for the Community Scorecard survey online, in their email or in their letterbox.
The survey will be open until 10 March 2023.
