Great Southern Art Award 2017
The Great Southern Art Award is an exhibition and celebration of art in the Great Southern region. The exhibition gives artists the opportunity to have their work professionally displayed and viewed by more than 2,000 visitors and features work by emerging and established artists in both 2D and 3D forms.
The Story of Wool Exhibition
From the arrival of the first sheep on the Brig Amity in 1826, sheep and wool have been important to the livelihood and creativity of the Albany community. This rich history and importance of wool to our community is now being told in The Story of Wool, an exhibition at Vancouver Arts Centre that will open at the Vancouver Street Festival on May 6 and run to June 10.
Sounds of the Great Southern CD Launch
Ten new, original songs showcasing the inspiringly diverse breath of musical talent brewing in the Great Southern region of WA, the WAM Sounds Of The Great Southern compilation CD is set to launch on Saturday 27 May at the iconic Albany Town Hall.
