Councillor Rebecca Stephens


Elected in 2025, Rebecca Stephens brings a strong commitment to community engagement, transparency, and progress, and is currently serving her second term as a City of Albany Councillor. Between her two terms on Council, she served as the Member for Albany, where she championed local initiatives and worked to ensure the voices of her community were heard at all levels of government.

Having deep roots in Albany, Rebecca’s family has been part of the community for six generations, giving her a lifelong understanding of the region’s unique character and needs. Her personal connection to Albany fuels her dedication to creating a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable city.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has demonstrated a collaborative approach to leadership, working across government, business, and community sectors to deliver meaningful outcomes. Her experience in public service, combined with a hands-on understanding of local issues, positions her to be a strong advocate for the community and a proactive contributor to Council decision-making.
