City invites community to help shape Albany’s future

The City of Albany is inviting residents to take part in the independent MARKYT Community Scorecard from 10 to 28 March 2025 to provide valuable feedback on City services and help shape future priorities.

The Community Scorecard benchmarks the City’s performance against other local governments in Western Australia and gathers comprehensive community feedback on areas of importance for residents.

The results will inform the review of the City’s Strategic Community Plan, which sets the long-term vision for Albany over the next decade.

Residents can complete the Community Scorecard online via the City’s website and social media channels.

A randomly selected portion of the community will also receive a survey via letterbox delivery, with a reply-paid envelope provided for easy return.

Participation is anonymous, and all feedback will be used to guide future decision-making and strategic planning for our community.

City of Albany Mayor Greg Stocks encouraged residents to take the opportunity to share their views.

“This survey is a chance for residents to tell us what matters most to them and how we can continue to improve,” he said.

“The results help us understand what we are doing well and where we need to focus our efforts to ensure Albany remains a great place to live.

“We want to hear from as many people as possible, as every voice counts in shaping our city’s future.

“Your input directly influences the priorities we set and the improvements we make.”

The Community Scorecard is open from Monday 10 March and will close on Friday 28 March 2025.

Residents who would like to complete the survey in another language can arrange this by emailing [email protected] or phoning (08) 6820 3000.
