The Centennial Park Sporting Precinct Master Plan aims to deliver a realistic and workable design; focusing on shared use, improved playing surfaces; and enhanced event spaces that are economical and socially sustainable. The master plan addresses the three major issues of flood mitigation / drainage, vehicle parking and lighting.

The concept received Council approval in February 2014 and is now in the design stage. Preliminary construction work on a new multi-use field behind Albany PCYC is expected to be complete by May, as will upgrades to lighting at Railways Football Club.  For more information about the project and updates visit our Strategic Projects page
