Vancouver Street FestivalCommunity leases and licences will be considered to incorporated community, sporting and recreation groups that can demonstrate community benefit to justify the lease or licence.

All community lease and licences will be in line with the City of Albany Council Policy Property Management (Leases and Licences)

The Policy provides the principles to be applied when considering City leases over land owned and or managed by the City of Albany.

All requests for a Lease or Licence will be determined:

  • In a fair, consistent and transparent way; and
  • in a manner that complies with statutory principles and policy.

All new lease requests are subject to City of Albany Council approval.

There are two options when applying for a community lease or licence:

Option 1: Lease over land owned or managed by the City of Albany (Crown land vested with the City to manage or City freehold land).

Option 2: Lease over land and City owned / managed building.

All enquiries for a community lease or licence are to be directed to the City's Property and Leasing team by email leases@albany.wa.gov.au
